App may be first step towards live NFL games on Roku and other devices
NFL Now is currently available for Roku, Fire TV Xbox One, PlayStation 4, IOS, Android and the web. The app will be a boon to fantasy football fanatics and continues the NFL’s march towards over-the-top delivery. More on this later. The app is the first to put the NFL on Roku and the Amazon Fire TV.

Fans who download the ACC Sports app will be able to follow tons of ACC action from anywhere with an Internet connection. The ACC, which will add Louisville to its conference lineup this season also includes a resurgent University of Miami, Clemson, Notre Dame and defending national champion Florida State.
New offer from the NFL lets viewers see preseason games for less than 20 dollars
The NFL season is about to kick off with the first preseason contest when the New York Giants match up against the Buffalo Bills. The game which will be broadcast live on NBC this Sunday at 8pm will also be available for streaming through IOS, Android and a Windows app. The games are also available via the NFL’s website. All 65 games are available for only 19.95.
The World Cup the biggest Soccer/Football event in the world will begin this Thursday at 3:30 Eastern Time when host country Brazil takes on Croatia. The World Cup will be broadcast in its entirety via ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC and ESPN3, the Internet based Network from Disney/ESPN. The network will be the home of 64 contests in around the clock coverage of the event. The event will also be available via its family off apps including watch ABC.
The Roku family of devices and the Amazon Fire TV will be set top distribution partners for the NFL Now, The National Football League’s online offering, when it launches this August. The Kindle Fire tablets will also have apps for the new service that could reshape digital sports. The NFL Now will provide access to NFL Films, press conferences, original reporting and analysis and a variety of other services including personalized content and highlights from across the league.

Tennis fans finally have a chance to get loads of content without first paying for digital cable and adding a sports tier with Tennis Channel Plus. The Internet based service from cable channel The Tennis Channel costs $59.00 per year and is now available on the Apple TV. The Tennis Channel has the rights to numerous matches that are not shown during their linear TV coverage because there are so many high profile matches going on at any given time. This service will give fans more choices including (according to the network’s FAQ’s) up to 5 simultaneous live court play for the first 8 days from the French Open as well as live matches from the ATP, WTA, Davis, Fed and Hopman Cups throughout the year.

Last Spring at the tail end of the college basketball season the sports network launched mini feeds of 15 College conferences including the ACC. Now with the SEC Network in tow ESPN will be carrying multiple games on its online offering that will not air on its regular traditional network, which is of course also offered via its online app Which includes ESPN, ESPN 2, and ESPN U.
