17 CBS Channels Added To fuboTV

Fubo TV has continued its seemingly weekly expansion of local channel offerings across the country. The latest announcement adds 17 CBS stations to markets all over the country.

New CBS additions:

  • KELO – Sioux Falls, SD
  • KLFY – Lafayette, LA
  • KOLR – Springfield, MO
  • WANE – Ft. Wayne, IN
  • WBTW – Myrtle Beach-Florence, SC
  • WCIA – Champaign-Springfield, IL
  • WFRV – Green Bay-Appleton, WI
  • WHBF – Davenport-Moline, IA
  • WJHL – Tri-Cities, TN-VA
  • WJTV – Jackson, MS
  • WKBN – Youngstown, OH
  • WLNS – Lansing, MI
  • WMBD – Peoria-Bloomington, IL
  • WNCT – Greenville-N Bern-Washington, NC
  • WOWK – Charleston-Huntington, SC
  • WROC – Rochester, NY
  • WTAJ – Johnstown-Altoona-St College, PA

The availability of major networks is possibly the biggest nugget for those looking to drop cable subscriptions in places where antennas don’t get the job done. Even in a place where antennas work, the opportunity to keep everything in the same place is the sort of thing that people are looking for. At this point fuboTV can deliver a number of local channels including;

  • FOX coverage in 94% of U.S. households, including 50 of the top 50 and 147 total DMAs (112 stations plus network feeds in 35 additional markets).
  • CBS coverage in 82% of U.S. households, including 20 of the top 20 markets, 41 of the top 50 and 107 total DMAs (107 stations total).
  • NBC coverage in 76% of U.S. households, including 42 of the top 50 and 91 total DMAs (92 stations).
  • TEL coverage in 86% of U.S. Hispanic households and 155 total DMAs (29 stations plus network feeds in 126 additional markets).

The somewhat glaring missing piece is ABC networks which are nowhere to be seen. This is probably related to the fact that fuboTV does not have any other Disney owned properties on its offering in general.
