BNC, A streaming news channel with a focus targeted at black perspectives in the US has announced it is shutting down operations. The 24-hour news option launched two years ago on a number of free ad-supported streaming aggregators before also finding its way onto Cox Cable, DirecTV, Comcast, Spectrum, Dish Network and Verizon Fios.
The network had been shedding staff recently in an attempt to try afloat.
