Grease, the musical that made John Travolta a household name and heartthrob for generations of fans will be getting the prequel treatment with a new series from Paramount+.
The new show, Grease: Rise Of The Pink Lady’s will debut Thursday, April 6, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada.
The series will premiere the following day in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and South Korea. Following the premiere, new episodes of the 10-episode-long season will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays for subscribers in the U.S. and Canada, and on Fridays for subscribers in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, France and South Korea.
The series, which like Grease is a musical, takes place 4 years before the movie and features a story about outcasts who band together to become a group to be reckoned with.
