Crackle recently gave its Roku channel a major face lift. Without much fanfare, the company has updated the look and feel of one of its most longstanding apps on the market. The new changes include a drop-down search for specific genres of TV shows and movies, a new more interface, a weekly segment highlighting what is new on the channel and parental controls.
The changes a big makeover from the basic look that the app had used for years. The original look had become quite dated when compared with Hulu, Netflix and even far later entries like Tubi TV and the recent launch of On-demand movies via Pluto TV.
