Watch Mojo Fun Countdowns Worth Watching

I’m sure we’ve all done it. You are on a website (and it seems like it could be any website these days) as you scroll down the web page something catches your eye. It’s never something intellectually stimulating. It’s things like “20 stars who got fat”, “These child actors are hot now!” or “These grooms were shocked at what happened next”. Lists yuck. They are never ever as interesting as the headlines seem to imply that they are. In reality, these articles are simply the basest way of getting advertising revenue out there and in the end, the content is not even important to the companies. A where are they now could include an actor like Neil Patrick Harris and the writer will pretend that Harris had not been seen since his Doogie Howser MD days even though he has been on the stage and screen non-stop. But if you want to check out a list that will actually entertain you and maybe even educate you, check out Watch Mojo.

Watch Mojo is a YouTube Channel that has grown into an app for multiple platforms including set-top boxes. Watch Mojo specializes in top ten lists top five lists and other short form factoids. They are quick hitting and usually pretty funny. Watch Mojo has top ten lists and clips curated into multiple categories so almost anyone can find a list about something that interests them. It might be top ten worst race car crashes in NASCAR History, it could be a list of craziest movie endings etc. Now the lists are totally and completely subjective. It isn’t as though there is a scientifically verified worldwide poll to decide the most outrageous fast food dishes. The lists are just made for fun. In some cases, the creators will explain what sort of qualifiers were in place for a list like they will choose horror movies and exempt films like Frankenstein because they have a list of 10 silver screen classics you should watch. I’m making most of these categories but they may well exist and on the YouTube channel you can actually submit list ideas.

The thing that stands out about watch mojo lists is that they are so filled with trivia and facts that can inspire you to read into them more. While on the site I ran across a poll for what I assume is a possible list of Top 10 Game Show Scandals. I didn’t recognize a number of them so I googled them and got lost for 20 minutes reading about a guy who cheated Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and a guy who memorized the seemingly random patterns from the Press Your Luck game board. Why? Because I love trivia and game shows. Whatever your interests there is probably a video for you and if you are not careful you can lose an hour just going from one YouTube video to the next. That’s how they get you! The videos are often add supported with a short preroll but it is nothing unbearable. In the end, you will probably pick up on something that will amaze your friends on trivia night or move a conversation along at a party.
