Looking to get 5G going strong from the start. You might want to take a look at what GIGABYTE subsidiary GIGAIPC is doing. The company developed the
industry’s first embedded high-efficiency fan-less industrial computer control system that supports 5G communication modules and already passed the verification of Taiwan main mobile carrier Chunghwa Telecom’s 5G field test at the end of May 2020 (model name: QBiX-Pro-KBLB7100HD-A1).
As 5G becomes the expected standard in the US products like this will be flooding the market. The hope is that The I/O interface will enable various industrial applications such as factory automation, smart transportation, smart retail, medical, and Internet of Things edge computing, and enable the high operational efficiency and service quality required in the 5G era.
The company says it will provide customers the flexibility to arrange internal workspaces without the need for wired Internet access. Cord cutters and companies may be able to have the highest Internet speeds possible without a cord at all.
