Roku, a company always happy to make a new partner is teaming up with FuboTV. This summer those who purchase a new Roku have the chance to preview the Streaming TV Service for a full month. The service offer includes devices purchased in the U.S., including at Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Amazon through July 8.

For those unfamiliar with Roku, it is a popular set-top streaming box. It offers a number of popular streaming options and provides a simple way to let users a to watch tons of Internet-based content. Content ranges from Netflix to pure niche. Fubo is trying to carve out a niche around sports content and does so by offering all of the major league sports like The NFL Network, NBA TV The Pac 12 network, FOX sports national and regional channels and more. The service includes a number of other networks totally outside of sports. It includes content channels like AMC, El Rey, FX, The Hallmark Channel, Syfy, and USA along with News channels like Fox News and MSNBC. The service defaults to sports options when it is launched but a little exploring returns a lot of other results. FuboTV subscriptions include personal cloud DVR and two simultaneous streams, with the ability to upgrade both, as well as various channel add-on options.
The service package normally costs $44.99. Depending on what Roku one tries out the preview itself could almost match or exceed the cost of the device.
