People looking for more positive programming will have a new choice this fall. Chicken Soup for the Soul, which owns the Crackle+ streaming brand will launch its own branded AVOD channel along with a FAST (Free ad-supported linear channel).
The content will include a large selection of scripted movies and TV shows, unscripted shows and documentaries featuring everyday heroes, and lifestyle programming featuring the best home, food, DIY, style and travel experts, as well as programming to improve health, wealth, spirit, knowledge and relationships. The Chicken Soup for the Soul AVOD network in the Crackle Plus portfolio will launch this fall.
The company made the announcement at its Virtual New Fronts presentation along with an announcement that its mobile Crackle app will get an upgrade as well as be featured on Vizio smart TVs.
