Cocaine Bear Still Number On On-Demand – The Streaming Advisor

Cocaine Bear Still Number On On-Demand

While one would expect to see Oscar winners slip into the top 10 a week or so after they collected awards the second life of Cocaine bear is worth noting. The dark comedy, which was one of Ray Liotta’s last roles had a better-than-average theater run for a movie of its budget and has proven very popular on-demand with Vudu. Knock at the Cabin, Puss In Boots: The Last Wish and M3gan have also shown staying power despite both being available on Peacock. Does this say something about Peacock’s reach or lack of it?

On-demand viewing has definitely developed as a place for movies that are fun enough to take in but maybe not worthy of $20.00 tickets.

See Vudu’s top ten grossing movies for last week below.

  1. Cocaine Bear
  2. Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre
  3. The Whale
  4. Plane
  5. Knock at the Cabin
  6. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
  7. A Man Called Otto
  8. Children of the Corn
  9. Everything Everywhere All at Once
  10. M3GAN: Unrated
