Ouch one picture on Facebook and X after another of the same thing. A message from DirecTV saying it doesn’t have a signal. It was the epitome of the DirecTV experience for a lot of fans last night.
One of the long-time slights on the service is that if it rains you can’t watch it. On the other hand most other viewers had little problem aside from some anecdotal snafus from people watching YouTube TV in 4k.
A TV service has got to deliver on the most watched TV event of the year. A fumble like this can only not be met with cancellations if a person lives in a place where there’s no other choice. And with internet access from companies like T-Mobile becoming more common that era is ending soon.
