Just because schools are closed does not mean there is nothing to learn. PBS has always been an educational space and now that is has a streaming option it means that you can get its content on demand. And better yet your kids can get it on-demand. There is a lot of stuff to see right now if you want to take a look. While there is a lot of content built around scripted series its PBS’s science and nature offerings at the moment are can’t miss as far as kids educational material goes.
Unfortunately it is not totally free to stream. Some of PBS’s content is only available to PBS passport members.
The PBS Video App and PBS.org, which are free for all users, and PBS Passport, available as a PBS member benefit within the PBS Video App, both feature a vast collection of streaming content, ranging from the latest dramas to compelling documentaries and enlightening series, to entertain and educate audiences.
The following PBS “What to Stream” Guide provides information about the PBS Video App/PBS.org and PBS Passport, as well as a weekly overview of new and upcoming releases, recent offerings, last call programs, and exclusive content available on each of the platforms.
