One of the winningest TV shows in history will be streaming on two platforms this year after an agreement was reached by Hulu and Peacock. As it has with some of the other programming so far, Peacock will share the first season of the show for free and require users to have at least the commercially supported $4.99 premium level subscription to receive the rest of the series. Hulu of course is a fully subscription-based service.
The show which ran for 11 seasons made a star of Ariel Winter and others involved with the show through a mix of light drama and comedy in a mockumentary style filming format similar to NBC’s The Office.
all 250 episodes of Modern Family will begin streaming February 3.
