IMDb TV, Amazon’s free streaming service, announced today that the IMDb TV app is now available on iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices in the U.S.
The expanded distribution follows IMDb TV app launches this year on Roku, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Android TV devices, LG Smart TVs (2018-2021 models), PlayStation 4 consoles as well as Chromecast with Google TV,NVIDIA SHIELD and other Android TV OS devices.
The free streaming service features an extensive and always updating library of hit movies and television including popular favorites such as Chicago Fire, All in the Family, Wolf of Wall Street and How to Train Your Dragon
But unlike a number of free ad-supported services IMDb TV is not just built on library archives content alone. IMDb TV features Originals from Amazon Studios, including the upcoming August 6thdocu-series Luke Bryan: My Dirt Road Diary and the recently launched heist drama Leverage: Redemption.
In addition to third party devices, IMDb TV is available as an app on Fire TV as well as a free Channel within the Prime Video app across hundreds of devices.
