Jon Lovitz Staring In Tubi Original

As part of its back-to-school programming, Tubi will debut a new summer original comedy, starring Emmy Award nominee Jon Lovitz (“Saturday Night Live”), TALES OF A FIFTH GRADE ROBIN HOOD, on Friday, Aug. 27, exclusively on FOX Entertainment’s free streaming platform. In addition, Tubi will be partnering with KIDS IN NEED FOUNDATION, to provide vital school supplies and learning tools to under-resourced teachers and students nationwide.

In TALES OF A FIFTH GRADE ROBIN HOOD, after a young boy (Chase Brown, “The Underground Railroad”) in an under-funded school discovers the Vice Principal (Lovitz) is stealing money from fundraisers and lives in a mansion, he and his friends decide to get back that money and put where it belongs: in the classroom. The movie also stars Iliana Perez (“Coche Bomba”) and Jayden Scala (“American Princess”). TALES OF A FIFTH GRADE ROBIN HOOD, from The Asylum (“Sharknado”), is written by Ryan Ebert (“San Andreas Mega Quake”) and Anna Rasmussen (“Jurassic School”), and directed by Dylan Vox (“The Christmas Sitters”).

TALES OF A FIFTH GRADE ROBIN HOOD joins Tubi’s Back-to-School programming lineup featuring over 40 titles available in August and September, including over a dozen titles from the “Monster High” franchise, as well as “Zapped,” starring Zendaya, “Karate Kid,” “Help I Shrunk My Teacher,” “Wheels on the Bus,” “Teen Star Academy,” “Jurassic School,” “Mr. Frog” and “Leo the Wildlife Ranger,” among many others.
