It’s December. The lights and choice of music on the radio might have already told you this before we did. When the Christmas season comes many of us reach out to see Christmas movies and traditional specials. Maybe the most iconic story of all it A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. The story written in the Victorian period has remained an iconic tale of redemption that shows the value of loving life where you are and the joy of giving. Because it is so well-loved there have been many versions of the story whether they be stylized to modern times, based around popular characters or even traditional retelling/period pieces.

Mr. Magoo’s Christmas Carol (Fandango Now $4.99) This animated version of the story has wonderful songs and humor you might not see in a modern version of the story.
Barbie Christmas Carol Modernized version of the story about an exec who wants employees to work on Christmas Day (Hulu) Barbies version of this story is a modern take on the Ghostly tale featuring an executive who overworks employees.
A Christmas Carol Narrated by Vincent Price (Amazon Prime Video) Vincent Price lent his iconic voice to Dicken’s prose in the short version of a Christmas Carol that hits all the high notes even with a somewhat choppy soundtrack.
