Netflix pulled in 16 Emmy wins Sunday night during an evening that rewarded traditional and cable programming heavily. The streamer did not win in any of the most talked about categories but an Emmy is an Emmy. Featuring Dave Chappelle paid off well for the streamer along with the reality show Cheer. But those were not the only happy Netflix originals. CBS All Access got into the game with Picard picking up an award for makeup. Amazon got high praise for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel which picked up 4 awards. while Disney raked in numerous awards for the one show nobody could stop talking about The Mandalorian which grabbed awards for effects, stunts sound editing and more.
