Roku And Chromecast Both Support Amazon Free Video Service

SEATTLE – Feb. 24, 2021 – IMDb TV, Amazon’s premium free streaming service, announced today that the IMDb TV app is now available on Chromecast with Google TV and other Android TV OS devices in the U.S.

The expanded distribution follows recent IMDb TV app launches on Roku, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Sony Android TV devices. The IMDb TV app, featuring an extensive catalog of blockbuster movies and popular TV shows, will also launch on additional Android TV OS devices in the coming weeks.

IMDb TV features ambitious Originals from the award-winning Amazon Studios, including the docu-series Top Class: The Life and Times of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers premiering Feb. 26, and an extensive and always updating library of hit movies and television including popular favorites such as 24, Schitt’s Creek and Fringe and blockbuster movies such as Minority Report, The Grand Budapest Hotel and Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events.

In addition to the IMDb TV app on Roku, Chromecast with Google TV, Sony Android TV, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S devices, IMDb TV is available as an app on Fire TV and a free Channel within the Prime Video and IMDb apps across hundreds of devices.
