Verizon customers are about to have a chance to save some big money on TV with Sling TV. With a new deal between dish and Verizon customers who use Verizon wireless and 5G along with FiOS customers will be able to getSling TV for two months for free. The deal applies to new accounts so that means if you are an existing Sling TV customer you will not be able to take it vantage of the deal.
The set up comes along at a perfect time for basketball fans will be able to watch the entire NBA playoffs through Sling TV. The streaming service owned by dish was the first on the market to offer a cable replacement that truly delivered a bundle of channels. It has since been replicated and expanded on by other services. The big difference between sling TV and most of the servicesIs that it’s multiple channels can be added and subtracted as parts of small groupings or add-ons while it’s competition offers just one big batch of content.

Here is how to set up Sling TV through the Verizon deal:
Verizon wireless and 5G Home customers:
- Sign in to the My Verizon App.
- Scroll down and tap the SLING TV tile.
- Review the redemption page and tap Go to SLING TV.
- Select a SLING TV service and create a SLING account.
- You will be required to provide an email address and valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
- Check your email for a message from SLING TV confirming that your account has been activated and how to start viewing SLING TV.
Verizon Fios customers:
- Sign in to your My Verizon home (Fios) account.
- Visit the My Plan page (at top of page, click Account, then Plan Overview).
- Select Add Live TV, or if you already have Fios TV service, click Add Streaming Video.
- Click on the SLING TV tile, then scroll to the bottom of the page and click Checkout.
- Sign in to the My Fios App.
- Swipe the banner at the top of the screen to locate and then tap the SLING TV tile.
- Scroll to the bottom of the SLING redemption screen, click Go to SLING TV.
- Select a SLING TV service and create a SLING TV account.
- You will be required to provide an email address and valid form of payment (credit card, debit card or PayPal).
- Check your email for a message from SLING TV confirming that your account has been activated and how to start viewing SLING TV.
