Sling TV To Stream UFC 214 This Weekend Will It Hold Up? – The Streaming Advisor

Sling TV To Stream UFC 214 This Weekend Will It Hold Up?

If you can’t get enough of UFC and are willing to plunk down the $59.99 214 for the fight you can order it live on Sling TV this weekend. This will be Sling TV’s first PPV event and features Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier for the title. The question is will the stream hold up. Sling TV better hope so because they don’t want a bunch of phone calls from hyped up UFC fans to ruin a good Saturday night.

Streaming services like Sling have faced problems in the past when streaming highly watched events especially live sports but appear to have fixed the issues of the past as the service has grown. What makes this dicey is the price. If people are laying down $60.00 for a fight there can not be any glitches.

Are you a sling TV customer? Here is how you get the fight:

  1. Log in to “My Account” on sling.com
  2. Cclick on the UFC fight banner. This will add a new channel
  3. Coverage begins at 9:30 p.m. ET.

*Sling Blue customers can watch the 8 p.m. ET fights on FXX by logging in to FXnetworks.com with their Sling TV credentials.
