The surprise breakout hit of the summer Everything Everywhere All At Once is now the number one rental on Vudu. The film starring Michelle Yeoh is a multiversal ride that actually beat Marvel’s Dr. Strange 2 to the punch on alternative realities this summer. Lionsgate’s The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent starring Nicolas Cage, finished second this week making independent original stories the top two titles on the Vudu streaming chart in their debut week of June 6th through June 12th. Also new to Vudu this week, Focus Features’ Downton Abbey: A New Era currently ranks as the #3 title on Fandango’s on-demand streaming service.
With Jurassic World Dominion and Top Gun: Maverick ranking as the top two blockbusters in theaters, fans are catching up at home with the previous hits, 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and the original 1986 Top Gun, ranking as the #16 and #17 titles, respectively, on the Vudu streaming list. Meanwhile, Vudu’s two best-selling bundles are the Top Gun 2-Movie Collection (offering a preorder of Maverick), and the Jurassic 5-Movie Collection.
