Another pirate walks the plank. ACE, The group of powerful media companies and studios won a court victory over Vader Streams, shutting down the IPTV streaming service. Vader Streams was accused of (and proven to be) distributing channels to multiple partners in order to build TV services integrated into Kodi based media streaming boxes powered by Android. Vader Streams was distributing tons of material it had no right to disperse and allowing Pirating companies to make major profits by marketing the stolen signals and intellectual property as cord cutting opportunities.
The Streaming Advisor has been following this storyline over the past two years as multiple pirating services have been shut down. It won’t be the last.
