You may have noticed that the family favorite Charlie Brown Halloween special has not been advertised as coming on TV this month. It seems like it is on every year. But it is not scheduled on traditional TV this year. What to do? The good news is that there is a way to stream it for free. But just like the old days you will have to wait for it. It’s the Great Pumpkin , Charlie Brown’ October 30 on Apple TV+.
What is Apple TV+
Apple TV+ is an app available on multiple devices and integrated into the Apple TV streaming devices. They include:
Roku Players/TVs, Fire TV, Samsung Smart TV’s, LG Smart TV’s, Vizio TV’s, and Sony Smart TV’s. Android TV users and new users of the Google TV Chromecast will be out of luck.
The Halloween special, “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” was expected to begin streaming globally on Apple TV+ on October 19 for rent, and will be available for free from October 30 until November 1, Apple said in its press release.
The Halloween special is not the only one that will not come on TV this year
“A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” will be available on November 18, and free to watch from November 25 until November 27.
“A Charlie Brown Christmas” will be available for free from December 11 until December 13.
