IRVINE, CA – May 4, 2021 – XUMO TV today announced the launch of Jubao, a newly created Chinese- language AVOD entertainment channel from International Media Distribution (IMD), part of NBCUniversal International Networks. Available to consumers for the first time in the U.S. via XUMO’s free, ad-supported service, Jubao, which means “collection of treasures” in Mandarin, features blockbuster movies and binge-worthy drama series from China and Hong Kong distributors Jetsen Huashi, China Television Corporation and Chinese Media Group.

Highlighted films and TV series available in Mandarin and Cantonese at launch will include popular dramatic series Men with Sword starring members of popular Taiwanese boy band SpeXial; romantic-comedy series Pretty Li Hui Zhen, starring Dilraba Dilmurat; and multi Hong Kong Film Award-winning Project Gutenburg, starring Chow Yun Fat. Most Jubao programming is subtitled.
