The 4K UHD RCA Roku TVs will receive by end of the year the Roku® OS 8, which includes new feature Smart Guide, which shows over-the-air (OTA) broadcast TV and streaming options together to help customers search for, find and discover entertainment. Other new features allow for easier search and voice control, such as enhanced voice commands with Roku mobile app allowing a user to launch streaming channels, switch inputs or control their Roku TV; TV Everywhere (TVE) single sign-on to eliminate having to enter login credentials multiple times; an updated 4K Spotlight Channel and more.
“Working with RCA on a 4K Ultra HD RCA Roku TV was a natural progression following the launch of the RCA Roku TV line earlier this year. Consumers will love this affordable but sleek designed 4K UHD TV, with access to thousands of streaming channels,” said Chas Smith, general manager of Roku TV & players. “Through the 4K UHD RCA Roku TV, customers can also access the newly redesigned Roku 4K Spotlight Channel, making it easier than ever to find 4K content available on the Roku platform.”
Help!
I’ve followed your instructions on adding Pear to Plex for my Roku….. Except the last step. I cannot locate the add-ons file in Plex. Can I just copy the file and just drop it into Plex??
Thanks,
Jim
You should be able to find the plex folder by right-clicking the icon like in the picture. Are you doing this on a PC? Once you do that you just paste the folder into the plugins section with the others.
