For all of the talk of cord-cutting costs, it looks like bigger is better as far as services go. Fubo TV, Which has been adding features and channels to its service regularly saw a huge gain in profits this quarter.
Fubo achieved double-digit growth versus the prior year in North America, delivering $313 million total revenue (up 43% year-over-year) and a record 1.477 million paid subscribers (up 20% year-over-year).
In general, as people cut traditional TV services out of their budgets a percentage of them gravitate to Fubo and other replacement services for their TV needs, mostly driven by sports, which Fubo emphasizes both with its selections and its interface that lets users search for content from sports and even divisions and leagues.
