HBO released the official trailer for its Game of Thrones prequel, Hose Of Dragons. The show will run for 10 episodes beginning Sunday August 21s on HBO and will be available to stream on HBO Max. Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series is set 200 years before the events of “Game of Thrones. It is set to tell the story of House Targaryen which technically ended with Jon Snow killing Daenerys Targaryen. The truth is that because Jon Snow is in fact also a Targaryen, the story of that family is yet to be totally finished. HBO is said to be working on multiple series based in the GOT universe but obviously would like to catch lightning in a bottle again with the upcoming premiere. The question is will the new series recapture fans who were miffed at how the whole thing ended? The hard part about prequels (As Lucas Films realized the hard way) is we already know what it all leads up to, no matter how much sex and violence happens in between. Oh wow those Targaryens can ride dragons. Nothing can ever stop them, except Jamie Lanister. Oops spoiler alert.
