How To Enable Closed Captions On Sling TV

Sling TV’s new look brings a more streamlined feel to the service but any change can cause some consternation when people have to get used to something new. Closed Captions, which are key to many viewers are not accessible in the way they used to be on screen in the new Sling TV app. The good news is that they are easy to get to.

Turning on Closed Captions On Sling TV

  1. When launching a video stream simply pause your selection.
  2. Press down on your remote to call up the Sling TV on-screen menu.
  3. Toggle down to the menu and toggle to the right until you get to settings.
  4. Select the settings and choose to turn captions on.
