Magazines will be part of Apple News which will be rebranded apple News Plus
This sounds like a nice service, but obviously its not the thing that everybody showed up to hear about.
So far there have been 4 different people to talk about the New Apple News app
Apple’s News Plus will be available for free for 1 month.
Apple News Plus
Private news and magazine browser that will allow users to read articles without the topics following them around. Neat idea.
Apple Pay
Introduces Apple Card, a way to better track spending by clearly identifying vendors. It will also give users a percentage of their purchases back.
Apple Arcade
A game service for PC’s, Mobile and the Living room. This would be the latest attempt to make games a money maker. The Apple Arcade will be a pay service that allows users to play the games on Mac, Apple TV and iPads/iPhones.
The question is, will there be enough causal gamers to support the service with all of the free games out there. The service will start with 100 games starting in the fall. No price announced.
Apple’s “TV” App will get an update
The new update will be called Apple TV channels
The Apple TV Channels App will recommend new content from across subscription service that you subscribe to. Software update in May will bring the new changes including the Mac and smart TV’s.
Apple TV app will be available on Roku and Amazon Fire TV along with smart TV’s Samsung, LG, Vizio and Sony TV’s
Apple TV +
Star studded roll out with Stephen Spielberg, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Aniston, Kumail Nanjiani, Jason Mamoa, Viola Davis and Big Bird, so far.
The service will be ad free and subscription based but there were no details outside of the original projects announced. No news on price etc
