Hisense has announced the launch of its newest ULED Android TV portfolio starting with the Hisense H8F – on sale nationwide at Best Buy, BestBuy.com, and Amazon.com
The Hisense Android TV portfolio features the H8F, the top consumer rated TV in its class, and the H9F. Both series fuse the intuitive Android TV experience with Hisense’s evolved ULED technology that boosts the over picture quality performance of the TV.
Powered by the Hisense Hi-View™ chipset, the newest Hisense TVs automatically know when to make the colors of your favorite sports team more vivid and how to better balance brightness and contrast in your favorite film noir.
“We see consumers as TV viewers, not just buyers, so we’ve worked tirelessly to design stunning and sophisticated televisions from the inside out that challenge expectations and deliver best-in-class experiences,” says David Gold, Hisense USA VP of Consumer of Electronics. “With thousands of games and 500,000 movies and TV episodes available, Android TV allows us to provide a wide array of entertainment options that are easy to find. No one in your house will be able to say ‘there’s nothing to watch’ anymore.”
The Next Generation of Picture & Sound Quality
In the H8F, a range of picture-quality algorithms driven by the Hi-View Chip Set enables the TV to display a Wide Color Gamut, reach up to 700 nits peak brightness level and benefit from MEMC and BFI for smoother motion. In addition use of Dolby® Vision HDR adds detail to color and contrast making live sports, movies and TV episodes pop.
Premium ULED, along with a 120hz native panel and Quantum Dot, drives further enhancements in the Hisense H9F, reaching a new height in peak brightness up to 1,000 nits, and up to 132 local dimming zones to offer greater contrast control.
Hisense Android TV Features
Android TV brings an abundance of live and on-demand content from top streaming services like YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and Sling TV. Viewers can also stream content from their phones using Chromecast support with thousands of compatible apps. Android TV puts your favorite content in reach with personalized recommendations and resuming previously watched clips from where you left off, so the Hisense portfolio is always able to deliver the most desirable content.
The new Android TV lineup allows users to enjoy built-in Google Assistant for voice search, discovery, and commands. Viewers can get answers to questions about programs or films they watch, find weather updates or check calendars for a clear view of the day ahead. The H8F and H9F’s integrated Google Assistant feature can control everything from compatible lights to audio equipment, thermostats, appliances, and more. Additionally, viewers can download the Hisense skill for Amazon Echo devices to control other smart home products like light bulbs, door locks and the Hisense HiSmart™ Portable Air Conditioner that works with Alexa.
