New Roku TV Projector Hitting The Market

Roku is partnering with Aurzen to offer a new projector with the full Roku OS built in. The compact system is powered by a 330 ANSI lumens projector, which means that it will provide decent performance in darker spaces. We would not recommend such a product for full sun environments or rooms with bright lights.  Lumens is a measure of light that determines the viewability of the projection itself. Before purchasing, check out this Reddit post concerning Lumens and projectors.

Official Roku TV support though, brings with it a lot of advantages. For example, the new projector will pair with Roku’s speakers, soundbars, and subwoofers.  But keep in mind, standard Roku speakers are not waterproof, so don’t set this up and leave it unattended. Easy integration with wireless speakers is a very helpful feature, though. Roku speakers set up in just a few minutes with not much more required than pressing a button and following on-screen prompts.

Another standard Roku feature that I have found very helpful over time is that Roku integrates Apple’s AirPlay and mirroring. This means that in the event that a video content is available on a website or IOS app that does not have an official app available in Roku’s app store, you can still project it to a screen up to 150 inches.

Aurzen is based out of Shenzhen, China where it has been manufacturing electronics since 2022. For a full list of features, see below.
