ViacomCBS announced new pricing for the Showtime Paramount+ bundle. The company owns both brands but has thus far kept the premium cable channel separate from the rest of its streaming portfolio.
Customers can get both services for $11.99 per month which provides Showtime and Paramount+ with commercials and $14.99 per month for Showtime and Paramount+ without commercials and the access to stream their local CBS affiliate through the app. The bundles are also available at annual rates of $119.99 and $149.99. For clarification, Showtime is a commercial-free service regardless of which bundle users sign up for.
Paramount+ combines content from CBS with content from multiple entertainment brands like Comedy Central, MTV, and more along with a growing list of original streaming content exclusive to the service. The Showtime app is a rather versatile app that allows users to check out Showtimes’s entire programming catalog on-demand as well as stream a live feed of the network for a traditional lean back experience.
So if you want to get your fix for homeland and Star Trek Discovery you have a new option to do both.
