Sling TV looks like its taking a page out of Pluto TV’s book by offering a new free channel heavy onElvis Presly content to ride the wave of the the release of the new wide release major motion picture biopic “Elvis”.
The channel which features numerous titles either staring Elvis Presley or about “The King” is not exclusive to the famed entertainer. The content includes unrelated fare like content about Johnny Cash and Roy Orbinson, and spotlights cities that have played a significant role in the history of music.
A scan of the programming, which is built into Sling TV’s Free section included titles like The Beverly Hillbillies, The Fast And The Furious (1954), and others. So no this is not a channel that strings together all of the old Elvis movies of the 1950s and 60s. But it is a nostalgia trip.
