Sling TV will be adding three new channels as part of an expansion of its add-on packages. News Extra & Heartland Extra are optional editions to any Sling Blue or Sling Orange subscription designed to help users zero in on the kind of content that they want to see more of.
- Law&Crime: True crime and murder mystery fanatics will love this new channel from top legal commentator and attorney Dan Abrams. Offering daily live trial coverage, Law&Crime will also feature original programming such as Daily Debrief with Aaron Keller and Brian Ross Investigates, the host and former chief investigative correspondent for ABC News. A series of trial documentaries will also air. The network is preparing to lead coverage on two upcoming high-profile trials — Harvey Weinstein and Parkland school shooter, Nikolas Cruz. Law&Crime will be available in News Extra.
- Pursuit: Perfect for the outdoorsman or woman, Pursuit viewers can enjoy world-class adventures in the outdoors including hunting, shooting and fishing content from destinations all over the world. Pursuit will be available in Heartland Extra.
- Great American Country: Great American Country celebrates the American experience through music, family, travel, home and food. The channel delivers soul and Americana with the following shows: Kimberly’s Simply Southern, a cooking show featuring Kimberly Schlapman (member of the country music group Little Big Town); Flea Market Flip, a competition-based show that demonstrates how a little cash can go a long way with the right amount of creativity; and Celebrity Motor Homes, which features different celebrities showcasing their motor homes. Great American Country will be available in Heartland Extra.
