Star Trek The Next Generation now has a free streaming home on Pluto TV. The show which has always had a special place in the heart of Trek fans runs throughout the day on the new channel showing people why CBS felt the need to extend Captain Picard’s adventures in a new series.
The Star Trek Channel is also set to feature Star Trek movies as well though during our observations we have yet to see one available. It should be noted that The Next generation is not part of Pluto TV’s on-demand menu. Users who would prefer to see the series when and where they want will have to subscribe to either Netflix or CBS All Access.
The difference between Netflix and CBS ALL Access as far as Trekkies are concerned rests with the availability of the new Star Trek series including Picard, Star Trek Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
The new channel is listed as channel 110 and is part of the Entertainment section of the Pluto TV grid.
