Paramount + today will find out if its all in bet on Star Trek will continue to bear fruit as the newest journey into the mainstream Star Trek Univerae departs space dock.
This will be the fourth Star Trek series on the streaming service which launched boasting Star Trek Discovery as a way to ease back in to the original Star Trek cannon and modernize at the same time.
Strange New worlds, which will have 10 episodes this year, is a spinoff of Discovery which introduced Captain Pike to the small screen during season 2 of its still ongoing run. The show will debut weekly like a traditional tv show.
The series will tell the story of The Enterprise pre-Captain Kirk, though an already announced season two will feature the future captain as a younger man.
