For some consistency is the name of the game. That rule seems to prove true for the Netflix series Stranger Things. The original show which is a mix of horror and nostalgia burst on the scene 3 years ago making a star out of Millie Bobby Brown and helping re-launch Winona Ryder’s career. Variety reports that In the first four weeks of release, “Stranger Things” season 3 was watched by 64 million member households, Netflix said in the Q3 letter to shareholders. The company previously boasted that 40.7 million accounts watched the show in the first four days of its July 4 debut, marking its biggest-ever audience for a movie or TV series in a four-day window.
Netflix reported fewer new subscribers than predicted in its earnings report but appears to be strong on the eve of the new streaming services coming down the pike.
