Well, it looks like people were enjoying fantasy and drama last week. In a fun show of how the tastes of the public at large can vary it appears that Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam and the fact-based drama She Said (costarring Zoe Kazan and Golden Globe Best Supporting Actress nominee Carey Mulligan) are leading all titles on Vudu, Fandango’s on-demand streaming service. The numbers reflect well on the holidays as well. For some folks it just is not officially the season until they see some familiar titles. This is probably why also ranking among the top films for the week of December 5th through December 11th are the beloved holiday classics, Illumination’s animated Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch, Jim Carrey’s How the Grinch Stole ChristmasElfThe Polar ExpressNational Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer rank as the current #5, #8, #11, #13, #14, and #15 titles on the service, respectively.
