Twisters, a film born of the 1996 sumer classic Twister spun its way to the top of the charts on Fandago At Home last week as the number one on-demand title on the service.
The action romp was a breakout summer hit this year as audiences packed theaters to experience the adventure on big screens with true theater sound effects. The success of the movie also buoyed interest in the original leading to the Twisters to pack bundle fall at the number two spot on Fandango’s weekly top 10 list. This follows a trend which sees tip pole movies bring their predecessors along for the ride. Fandango has had great success by bundling previous films from the Planet of the Apes franchise, Despicable Me, and Bad Boys.
