What’s Coming To Amazon Video In January

Amazon is gearing up for a big start to the New Year with a number of new titles including some interesting looking new series. Following the popularity of the companies original series “The Man In The High Castle” Amazon will dive further into the mind of Science Fiction legend Philip K. Dick.

• The 2018 Rose Parade Hosted by Cord & Tish: The Amazon Original special is presented by Funny or Die, and will be hosted by Will Ferrell as Cord Hosenbeck and Molly Shannon as Tish Cattigan. The special will be available to stream live starting at 8amPT, and features entertaining commentary from Will and Molly as hosts of the 2018 Rose Parade. The special will be available in HDR on compatible HDR devices. (Jan.1)
• Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams S1: The Amazon Original Series is based on short stories from Philip K. Dick, which explores humanity in set from 5 to 5000 years in the future and questions what it means to be human in unique and fantastical worlds. The series will be available in HDR on compatible HDR devices. (Jan.12)
• Just Add Magic S2b: The Amazon Original Series continues into part two and follows Kelly, Hannah and Darbie as they race to identify who is cursing the town and destroying all of the magical spices and erasing everyone’s memories of magic. The series will be available in HDR on compatible HDR devices. (Jan.19)
• Wonderstruck: The Amazon Original Movie is based on Brian Selznick’s critically acclaimed novel about Ben and Rose, two children from different eras who secretly wish their lives were different. Ben longs for the father he has never known, while Rose dreams of a mysterious actress whose life she chronicles in a scrapbook. When Ben discovers a puzzling clue in his home and Rose reads an enticing headline in the newspaper, both children set out on quests to find what they are missing that unfold with mesmerizing symmetry.
