Century Link Stream is going to shut down. The service which has been offering a streaming service nationally offered customers the ability to set up a service much like their more cable-like service without the need to be in their actual service area, Current will continue to have access to the programming until their month of service ends.
It is a shame to see the service go by the wayside considering its clever interface which feels much more comfortable to learn and utilize for those looking to transition from traditional cable to Internet-based solutions. Unfortunately, Century Link Stream barely registered with consumers who may have even been confused as to whether it was a separate service or just a rebranding of their current TV solutions.
