YouTube made it through its first year of offering Sunday Ticket without any major problems arising. Now they are encouraging people to come back for more and offering a discount for folks who will pay for it now.
Until February 28 NFL fans can sign up for the 2024 season and save $50.00 off the price of the package. The discount will drop the cost of the package to $399.00. YouTube TV subscribers can save $50.00 as well and get the package for $299.00. YouTube advertises that package as giving users the ability to see all of the games on TV because it means that users will also get local broadcast channels and ESPN. For those signing up without YouTube TV the package includes games that would otherwise be unavailable because of agreements that dictate which games can be watched in which markets.
The move to YouTube allowed users to access Sunday Ticket without DirecTV for the first time since the program was introduced in the 1990s.
