Apple TV+ today unveiled a series of first look images from “Becoming You,” a global docuseries that explores the universality of childhood development and how the first 2000 days on earth shape the rest of our lives. Narrated by Oscar and Golden Globe-winner Olivia Colman, the series was shot over two years and spans the globe, featuring 100 children from ten countries from Nepal to Japan and Borneo. Each episode offers a thought-provoking look around the world at how children of all nationalities learn to think, speak and move from birth to five-years-old.
Viewers of “Becoming You” will be taken on a moving journey that reminds us how we’re more alike than we are different. The timely story of shared humanity and community when it comes to raising children comes alive through an intimate production crew that provides a true child’s perspective with filmmakers filming at the kids’ eye level. The series is produced by Wall to Wall Media and is executive produced by Leanne Klein and Hamo Forsyth.
“Becoming You” will join an expanding slate of docuseries on Apple TV+, including the Emmy Award-nominated “Home”; “Dear…” from award-winning filmmaker R.J. Cutler; “Tiny World,” narrated by Paul Rudd; and the soon to premiere “Earth at Night in Color.”
