DirecTV Now AT&T Adds New Affiliates And A Major TV Partner

DirecTV Now has added a new batch of 50 local channels to its lineup affecting 30 Television markets. The carrier like other OTA providers has been working almost since launch to provide access to major network affiliates in order to compete in the landscape of services as well as the more established cable bundles.

The process is a bit complicated because it requires deals between multiple moving parts as no one network owns all of its affiliates.

DirecTV Now has also announced that its app will be available on Samsung’s 2017 and 2018 line of TV’s. Editors Note: Make sure to do your research when purchasing a TV.
