The Godfather Trilogy Now Available On Vudu

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of “The Godfather,” the remastered and restored “The Godfather Trilogy” arrives on Vudu for the first time in 4K UHD with Dolby Vision. Fans can now purchase Francis Ford Coppola’s iconic classic film trilogy in 4K Ultra HD, available on Vudu, Fandango’s video-on-demand streaming service.

Fandango is celebrating the arrival of the “Godfather” movies on Vudu with an exclusive “before and after restoration” video showing how 4K UHD enhanced a scene from “The Godfather Part II” with Al Pacino. The special clip can be found on Fandango’s blog here.

The classic film is available as a standalone or as part of the “Godfather” trilogy, featuring “The Godfather Part II” and “The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone.” “The Godfather” is available on Vudu in 4K UHD for a limited time for $12.99, while the trilogy is available in 4K UDH for $29.99. Fans who previously bought the movies on Vudu prior to March 22 can upgrade to 4K UHD with special pricing available.

The latest UHD offering from Vudu follows the service’s success as the exclusive 4K UHD provider of “Game of Thrones,” one of its most popular TV series of all time.
