Apple TV Plus Price And Launch Date

We finally know what Apple TV Plus Will cost and When it will be available.  The new service launch November 1 and will cost $4.99 for people to stream Apple’s new original content on the now multiple supported devices. The price indicates what was reported earlier in the year, that Apple looks at the service as more of a complementary service to existing powers than an outright competitor.

This is likely a good move by Apple considering that its lineup does not include major library content outside of its Apple produced fare. Now on the other hand, anyone who buys a new Apple product will get the Apple TV Plus service for free for a year. That means that if you pick up a new Apple TV streaming player you get all those shows and other products for a year. This could greatly increase the value of the streaming box, which at the moment is one of the more expensive on the market. It also gives users an incentive to jump on with Apple instead of simply buying another compatible product.

Connected TV streaming devices are expected to follow Samsung LG, Sony and Vizio into the Apple TV Plus world. It has been reported that Roku and Fire TV will be compatible with the service as well.
