While most of the news around Warner Brothers Discovery has been about what is being removed from HBO Max, today there is a totally different kind of story to report. Discovery+ has added the bulk of the library content once available on CNN+ to Discovery+.
While the original programming meant specifically for CNN+ is still absent across the company’s brands, the numerous documentaries and true crime programming that CNN has produced over the years fits right in with established Discovery+ categories.
The move appears very logical vs keeping a separate news streaming service afloat when all indicators were that it was not going to work out. On the other hand, Discovery+ users may well enjoy special CNN series like The History of The Sitcom, The Bushh Years and other specials.
To find the CNN content users should navigate to the menu on the left side of the screen and choose the browse option. From there CNN originals will be one of the many subsections available alongside Discovery+ Originals.
