Pluto TV looks like its starting a new tradition. It launches a new channel every week. No it does not really do so but the free ad-supported service has been layering on the content at a feverish pace by both introducing channels specifically branded around Viacom channels and expanding genre-based content using its growing library of titles. The latest group of entries leans more on the latter. Pluto TV has access to so much content it basically has begun breaking it down into smaller and smaller chunks in order to get it out there and monetize it. Viewers should continue to expect the micro focussed trend. It actually mirrors what we see on cable TV channels where you have things like Discovery, Discovery Health, Discovery science etc. The difference is that Pluto does not charge for the broken down categories or anything at all for that matter.
