Steam Selling New 2026 Controller To Wait List Customers

The 2026 edition of the steam controller, which sold out in minutes when it launched last month, has finally gone on sale to customers who signed up for its virtual queue. The virtual queue was put in place after the quick sell-out of initial supplies was followed by numerous units being found on sale at triple and more of their actual sale price.

The gaming community all but demanded that Valve correct the issue, and before long the company introduced the virtual queue and implemented it for the controller. It is also expected to be in place when the new Steam console goes on sale.

Those who have signed up to be on the list should check their email and get on it or risk losing the chance to buy the item again.

The new gamepad has gotten glowing reviews from multiple publications, lauding its configuration options, multiple buttons, trackpads similar to the Steam Deck as well as its durability to withstand stick drift.
