Amazon’s free streaming service, Freevee will be jumping in with Apple TV with a dedicated app. The service which is a rebrand of the app known as IMDB TV, offers free movies and TV shows including some of Amazon’s original programming and Freevee exclusives like Judy Justice staring Judge Judy.
This is actually the third name for Amazon’s FAST, which originally launched as FreeDrive. The new name though makes the purpose of the app a little more clear. Freevee sound like Free TV, while for instance IMDB TV sounded more like it was a TV version of the service where you could figure out where you had seen that guy before. More info below.
- Amazon Freevee features ambitious originals from the award-winning Amazon Studios, including the recently launched crime drama Bosch: Legacy and second season of buddy-cop drama Pretty Hard Cases.
